    Acne is inflammation of the skin which results in the formation and presence of pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads. Acne is caused by hormones and the consequent release of proteins and sebum, which lubricate the skin.

    Most often acne is found on the face. However, acne may also show on other regions of the body including the back, neck, and chest. Acne may be caused by stress levels, hormonal changes, menstrual periods, or oily skin. Here is the list of home remedies for Acne in 2025:

    1. Fiber

    Increase the amount of dietary fiber. This will help your body remove toxins from the body.

    2. Fruits

    Increase the number of fruits in your diet. They are both of numerous phytonutrients that promote skin health and overall wellbeing.

    3. Yogurt 

    Add probiotic yogurt to your diet. This will help healthy gut flora to flourish.

    4. Tea Tree Oil

    Apply tea tree oil to erupted blemishes can help to eliminate bacteria and reduce inflammation.

    5. Water

    Drink lots of water. It helps eliminate waste from the body as well as keep your skin hydrated.

    6. Avocado 

    Make an avocado paste by mixing avocados with water. Apply it to your face and leave it on for 5 minutes. Then, wash it off with water.

    Mix 1 teaspoon of honey and the juice of half of a lemon to a glass of water. Consume this drink every morning before eating.

    7. Honey and cinnamon

    Make tea which also includes honey and cinnamon. This provides anti-bacterial properties.

    8. Tomato 

    Apply tomato or tomato paste onto pimples. Keep this on the inflamed area for 30 minutes before washing your face with warm water.

    9. Turmeric 

    Make a paste composed of turmeric powder and gram flour and water. Apply this paste onto the infected area for 20 minutes.

    After that, wash it with lukewarm water. This will provide the skin with anti-bacterial properties along with help reduce the presence of scars.
